WHEN WORSE IS BETTER // Ecclesiastes 7:1-6

We live in a time that offers distractions for us no matter where we are. Our first response in moments of pain is generally to numb or “stream” the pain away. Today, as Tom Dryer continues through our study of Ecclesiastes, we will see how wisdom actually makes room for us to consider the hardships that we experience.

Why is there so much injustice and oppression in this world? King Solomon observed much in his day, had the same questions, and was driven made by what observation was unable to give him. Time is such a precious commodity to us. With such a limited quantity, how are we to embrace the time that we have? Today, Pastor Tom is walking through Ecclesiastes 3:1-15.

WHY WORK STINKS // Ecclesiastes 2:12-26

Our culture can view work as the ultimate end to which someone finds fulfillment in this life, but it always falls massively short. Why is that? Today, Pastor Tom takes us through Ecclesiastes 2:12-26, which will teach us that although we ought to enjoy our work, it is not how we will find ultimate satisfaction in this life.

ENJOYMENT AS VAPOR // Ecclesiastes 2:1-11

What will bring us ultimate happiness? Will possessions, money, or fame? Today, Pastor Tom will take us through Ecclesiastes 2:1-11, where we will learn that enjoyment is a great gift in this life, but terrible when it is pursued for its own sake.
